| Tributes This Memorial Page Established by-SFC Rod Brewer In Honor Of MSGT Evander Earl Andrews MASTER SERGEANT Evander Earl Andrews, 36, of Solon, Maine. Assigned to 366th Civil Engineer Squadron. Andrews was killed in a heavy equipment accident near Al Udeid, Qatar, on October 10, 2001, the first death in Operation Enduring Freedom. Evan, You Will Never be Forgotten... Andrews Andy and I were stationed together a few times, he was a great guy, he was in my wedding back in 1984, and even loaned me the money to buy my first car. He would give you the shirt off his back. I hope to someday travel to Arlington and visit his final resting spot. |
