In Honor Of SSG Chad A. Barrett

Staff Sergeant Chad A.  Barrett, of Saltville, Virginia.
Died February 2, 2008 in Mosul, Iraq,
as a result of a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the
64th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry
Division, Fort Carson, Colorado. The incident is under investigation.
Christmas in Arlington... Rest easy, sleep well my brother. Know the line
has held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up
where you fell, the line ahs held. Peace, peace, and farewell.....

In Honor Of Chad A. Barrett
Not long ago, I saw his smile, heard his laughter. Now
it's gone. I can't being to explain the grief. It overwhelms me at
times. I want to strike out at the one that everyone knows caused this
death and in time, the one responsible will be exposed. I live for the day,
the truth is told. Chad loved his family in Tennessee and we loved
him, he will never be forgotten.
