In Honor Of Cpl. John Bishop
CPL John Bishop was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan on September 8, 2010. He was
my little brother and one of my very best friends. He is married to Crystle (Cade) Bishop and
she is 8 months pregnant with a little girl. John also has a son, K'Sean Bishop who is just 4
years old. John was one of the funniest people to be around, He could brighten anyones day
no matter how bad it was. He is a great son, an awesome brother, wonderful husband and an
outstanding father. He will be missed greatly and absolutely never forgotten.
We LOVE YOU John Bishop.

A friend of a friend of mine posted this I found one of the names on your site and I was linking
this in hopes maybe you could post it and find who it belongs to I'm sure it is very important
to them. I shared it on facebook in hopes someone from the area would see it and knows
who it was since I live in TX. Since I did some research on the names and found one of them
on your site maybe you could help find the owner.

this is the guy who found it he has 3 photos of the bracelet with info on it.

Thank you in advance!

Hey son, hard to believe that it has been 3 years since you were taken from us. We are all
doing well. There is definitely still a HUGE hole in our very being, we miss you so much.
We haven't been able to see K-Sean in 2 1/2 years but as posts is pic on FB once in a while
And he looks good. That little miss Ella is so beautiful and mommy and Tony are doing a
great job of raising her right. We went down for her BD.
I miss you every minute of everyday. It is amazing how many people's lives you have
touched, and are still touching. You are an amazing son, friend, Marine, brother, dad.
My God what I wouldn't give to see you again. I love you son!

It truly was an honor and privilege to have John as a member of my platoon. While attached
to First Platoon, he never felt that he was merely an attachment, but an integral part of the
unit. He took Marines, his or not, under his wing, and gave his all to their welfare. The first to
pick up and the last to set down, he led his Marines by personal example, an example we
should all try to emulate. He will be missed by all in First Platoon.

Thank so much for your service and sacrifice Cpl. Bishop. I was so blessed to have known
you for such a short time. May you rest in peace and guard the streets of heaven. I know you
will watch over your Marines from heaven just as you did on earth. You were like a father to
them. You've served your time in hell. Lay down your rifle and rest easy<3 God bless.
