I didn't know Brandon but wanted to let you know his memory lives on. I was part of the
Watermelon Run for the Fallen in Hempstead, Texas this past weekend and wore a tribute to
him on my shirt. Thank you for your sacrifice and may God bless your family.

Brandon, Flag Day 2011 (The one year anniversary of when you were laid to rest): Thinking
about you today (and every day) as we celebrate our Great American Flag! Thanking you for
selflessly fighting all of those years for us and for your ultimate sacrifice last June. We will
continue to honor you and keep your name and memory alive and front line, as this is the
least that we can do! God Bless you Brandon. You are always on our mind and in our prayers.

Brandon,  It is almost a year since I got the phone call from your mom.  She was unable to
say anything other than "the Marines are here"  for the first minutes of the call.  It
took a little while before she said those dreaded words...."Brandon died".  I have
thought of you each and every day since. Since our return home, ee have been sending
packages to your fellow Marines every few weeks in your honor.  I love and miss you very
much....Aunt Carol
