Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; died Jan. 3 in As Sadiyah, Iraq, of wounds sustained when insurgents
attacked his unit using small-arms fire during combat operations. Also killed was Maj. Andrew J.
Olmsted.

In Honor Of Captain Thomas J. Casey

Captain Thomas J. Casey, 32, of Albuerquerque, New
Mexico. Casey was one of two soldiers who died on January 3, 2008 while
supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They were assigned to the 1st Brigade
Transition Team, 1st Inf Div. God Bless... Christmas in Arlington..
Rest easy, sleep well my brothers. Know the line has held, your job is
done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up where you fell, the line
has held. Peace, peace, and farewell..... Thomas, You Have Not Been
Forgotten... Say, Hooah to the others up there... Rod.
