37, of Dania Beach, Fla.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (Airborne), 173rd
Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy; died July 23 in Sarobi District, Afghanistan, of
wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed
were Sgt. Travon T. Johnson, Pfc. Adam J. Davis and Pfc. Jessy S. Rogers.

A Soldier Isn't Gone Until He's FORGOTTEN

on 5/26 I had the honor of running with Michael's name on my bib.  It was a
Memorial Day run honoring a local hero who was also KIA July of 2007 here on
Long Island.  Each runners bib had 4 other servicemen killed and had the honor
of having Michael's name - never forgotten.
