In Honor Of CPL Christopher A. Gibson

CORPORAL CHRISTOPHER A. GIBSON, APRIL 18, 2004. Cpl
Christopher A. Gibson was one of two Marines who died due to injuries
received from enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Gibson Died on April
18, and Corporal Jason L. Dunham, died Apr 22, (posthumous award of
the Congressional Medal Of Honor). They were assigned to the 3rd
Bttalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary
Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif. They were manning a checkpoint when an
insurgent pulled the pin on a hand grenade and Corporal Dunham covered it
with his body shielding the rest of his squad from the grenade.
