Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) Fort Drum, N.Y.; died June 1 in Nerkh,
Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his
vehicle. Also killed were Pfc. Matthew D. Ogden and Pfc. Matthew W. Wilson.

Although my son was one of the soldiers that survived the attack, he is broken in body and very broken in spirit by the loss of his 4 Army brothers that were killed that day. He will never forget your son. God be with you. I've survived the loss of another son, and it is the most difficult thing a mother can ever experience.
