He is the son of Melanie Thrasher and William Long III and Stepson of Bobby Thrasher. He signed up in his senior year of high school.He was sworn into the Army on Oct 2,2004. He left for Basic training on June 28, 2005.He did his basic training at Fort Knox, KY. He left for his first duty station Ft. Riley in Nov 2005. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan. He was deployed to Iraq Feb 8, 2007 |

Patrick I am a 50 year old banker from Jacksonville, Fl. I have two sons both older than Braden when he gave his life for this great nation.
