In Honor Of LCPL Juan Lopez

Lance Corporal Juan Lopez, 2/4 Marines, Operation Iraqi
Freedom. Sniper Team had four KIAs on June 21, 2004. LCPL Pedro
Contreras, LCPL Deshon Otey and CPL Tommy Parker Jr. Insurgents killed them
and stripped them of their weapons. Marine snipers from 3rd Battalion,
5th Marine Regiment shot and killed an insurgent sniper and spotter
preparing to shoot at passing Marines, June 16, 2006. And the insurgents
were going to use a stolen Marine sniper rifle for the attack. That
rifle- an M40A1- belonged to the "Magnificent Bastards" of 2/4. Story Marine
