Saginaw, Mich.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry, Big Rapids, Mich.; died Dec. 23 in
Salman Pak, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near their
vehicle during combat operations. Also killed were: Spc. Chad J. Vollmer and Pfc. Wilson A. Algrim

In Honor Of Private Bobby Mejia II

Private Bobby Mejia II, of Saginaw, Michigan. Mejia was
one of three soldiers who died while supporting Operation Iraqi
Freedom on December 23, 2006. My condolences to his family and friends. I
attended his funeral service with the Patriot Guard Riders. God Bless....

line has held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have
taken up where you fell, the line has held. Peace, peace, and farewell.....
