Cpl. Jennifer M. Parcell/USMC

I still cannot believe that you have departed from this earth and was in complete shock when
notified of your untimely end.  I feel deep sorrow for your loved ones as the pain they have
had to endure is unbearable.  Your picture is worth a thousand words and your heart is the
thread of our Marine Corps.  Your family must have known from the beginning that you would
make a difference and set the mark for others to follow.  Doing what others did not want to do,
standing where others would not stand and setting the example for others to emulate.  I still
see you as this “get the job done” Marine ensuring that everything is done by the end of the
day and all the time with a smile.  A smile that was contagious throughout our entire unit.
One day in particular:  “I got it MSgt,   no worries.”  Passing orders to Marines twice her size,
the task was never too small or enormous.  The standard was only a starting point for Cpl.
Parcell.  We miss you.  Rest in peace, you are never forgotten.
