Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died Jan. 19 in Taji, Iraq, of wounds sustained when
his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

SPC Jon M. Schoolcraft, 26, of Wapakoneta, Ohio.
Schoolcraft was assigned to the 1/27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry
Division. He was on his second tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The 25th
Division has a Special Memorial page at the end of this site. Christmas in
Arlington... Rest easy, sleep well my brothers. Know the line has
held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up where

Jon Michael Schoolcraft III was posthumously promoted
to Sergeant. I attended his visitation and funeral with the Patriot
Guard. There was a strong showing of support from his families and the
community. Sgt Schoolcraft has a brother in the Marines... Semper Fi and
stay strong. He also has a brother that we nicknamed Elmer Fudd... You
also stay strong, good luck with your future. Feel free to contact me if
you need anymore advice as to where you want to go. Amber, You are a
strong Fine person. Stay Strong.... Rod.
