Benjamin, I had the pleasure of meeting your sister tonight at dinner. I asked her about the
tats she had on her wrist. She told me about you.
As she talked about you  the pride she had for you was evident. I can tell you Meridith is
doing well. I bet she takes after her brother.
I wish I had the pleasure of knowing you.
From what I have heard you are probably standing your post at the gates of heaven. I can
only hope I am worthy for entry.
Thank you for your service and the ultimate price you paid.

You may physically be gone from this earth,,but your spirit lives on with those you left
behind, the people you touched who never knew you and the courage you showed to a
country that you loved.

I prayed everyday for all of your to return safely to us. God had other plan, why, Only when
we all meet in heaven can I ask. I sit here some nights, crying for my loneliness of my
brothers and husband but then I think of your sweet wife and I cannot be selfish for she will
not get the opportunity I will. You are a true Hero and will always be noticed for that in our
family. Rest well and watch over your brothers in arms.

Dear Benjamin, I can hardly believe that you are gone.  You may be gone from this earth but
never gone from our hearts.  We were all so proud of you.  The man you had become, the
soldier who fought for our freedom.  The soldier who sacrificed his life for his friend.  I will
pray for you everyday.  We will be there for Patricia and Skylah and we know you are here
with us.  Rest in peace.  You are our hero.

Love, Aunt Sharon
