Spc. Lance C. Springer III was killed in action on March 23, 2007.  He was killed when an
improvised explosive device detonated near his unit.

I learned about Spc. Springer in class today.  He was really brave.  I’m sorry he died in Iraq.  I
hope your okay.  I just wanted you to know that Lance will never be forgotten.
