In Honor Of Army Spc. Clarence Williams III

Born in Gainesville, Williams was raised a country boy in Brooksville, Florida. Spc. Williams
was K.I.A. 8 July 2012 in the Wardak province by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. Spc.
Williams was assigned to the 978th Military Police co. from Ft. Bliss, Texas deployed to
Afghanistan in February 2012. 5 others of the same unit were also K.I.A. in the blast.  Spc.
Williams is survived by father Clarence Williams Jr, mother Talisa and sisters Samantha and
Abrill. He was a great soldier and an amazing human being. He will be missed dearly by
family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure to meet him. Rest in peace my brother you
have done your part.

23, of Brooksville, Fla.; assigned to 978th Military Police Company, 93rd Military Police Battalion,
Fort Bliss, Texas; died July 8 in Maidan Shahr, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised
explosive device. Also killed were Army Staff Sgt. Ricardo Seija, Army Spc. Erica P. Alecksen,
Army Pfc. Trevor B. Adkins, Army Pfc. Alejandro J. Pardo and Army Pfc. Cameron J. Stambaugh.
