Our Fallen Soldier continues to be managed and overseen by the family of Sgt. Kyle Colnot, KIA April 22nd, 2006. We continue our mission to serve, by providing as many services and means of assistance to as many military families as possible. As we are heading into our fourth year of existence - we wanted to take time to thank those that have helped us along the way. We owe our success to many that have helped us bring awareness to our cause and supported our efforts to assist many military families across the nation. We are realizing that after years of an active war time, our military's needs have changed significantly. This is due to the stresses many have suffered due to multiple deployments, physical and mental fatigue, injuries and impacts on their families. Our Fallen Soldier is continuing to step forward and try to meet the needs of as many as possible. We also continue to assist and support the families of soldiers that have given their lives for the freedom of others. The families and children of these soldiers are in great need of continued support. That was the basis in which Our Fallen Soldier was born and continues today. We will strive to get more children of fallen soldiers to "Grievance Camps", and assist families of fallen soldiers in various capacities as their individual needs arise. We pride ourselves on handing each family personally and helping them through their most difficult of times. Our website has grown and gained significant web traffic over the past year. We continue to maintain our own website, and input all memorial pages and information ourselves. The website is updated daily, often hourly. Our wish is to continue this indefinitely. We are blessed by those that have chosen to share their soldier & pictures with us. It is a personal mission to honor and share these American Heroes with all who visit our website. As we head into 2010, and our fourth year of operation - we will continue with many of our projects: All of these programs are in existence solely due to public contribution and donations. We maintain a 16% operating expense average, which means that .84 cents of each donation dollar is spent to assist families of all military branches across the nation. |
